July 2 marked one year in Australia. It might not have made it to the blog then, but it certainly didn't go unnoticed by friends. As you can see from the pictures, I was inaugurated with some "traditional" Aussie fare, i.e. no Aussie would be caught dead wearing any of it. The beer and the cake were good, though, as was the Mexican food made in my honor. Those parsley burritos are something I'll never forget. ;)
